British Ambassador to Brazil will work in Brexit Department

1$$ $$ [24 November 2016] The Department for Exiting the

European Union has announced that Alex Ellis, British

Ambassador to Brazil, will be its new Director General.

4$$ $$ He will assume his new role in January 2017 after

three and a half years as chief of the British Mission in

Brazil.

7$$ $$ As the new Director General, Alex Ellis will be

responsible for the negotiation strategy and for relations

9 with European Union Member States and Institutions.
